Recently I have noticed that my left jaw looks larger/swollen than the right one. One of my teeth in the lower jaw line is pushed back, and it has been so since my childhood. I wonder if I have any dental alignment problem, which is making my left face look bigger. My teeth are ok otherwise. What should I do and what is the treatment? Please advise. Thanks.

Talk to experienced dentist online and get your health questions answered in just 5 minutes.
Has the jaw shape changed just recently or has it always been like that? Sudden increase or decrease in the size should be evaluated as soon as possible. For that, kindly consult a competent general dentist or an orthodontist (since you mentioned some tooth alignment issues).
You can take it up from there.
Health Tips
Never start an irreversible procedure unless you understand what is being done and take multiple specialist opinions.
Get a dental check up to see if there is any oral cause. It may be normal as for everyone left and right sides of the face are not completely symmetrical
If the swelling has been noticed in past few years or months it may be that there is some change in jaw which need evaluation at the earliest.
If the teeth alignment changed and worsened in the same period, please seek opinion as soon as possible.
