Delayed periods
Dear Doctor, I am on my 36th day from last period. Married and planning for pregnancy. Tested with HPT twice and found negative. My usual cycle length is 32 and am regular. Kindly advice on whether I should go for a lab test

There are many tests to do...you should be examined thoroughly by gynecologists depending upon the findings tests can be planned...it may occur in women who have diabetes or thyroid problems. It is also common in women with high levels of a protein called prolactin in their blood...it can be the side effects of certain drugs like oral contraceptives,antipsychotics,antiepileptics...it may be due to poly cystic ovarian disease as well... So I would suggest you to consult nearest gynecologists for detailed clinical examination and evaluation they will do the needful.
