Delay in bruising - differebt area
Hi,
My daughter experienced a fall at 2 days old however, no bruising came out to her skull. We discovered she had a skull fracture.
Less than a week later my daughter developed a bruise to her cheek (on the same side as the skull fracture).
Could this be linked to the skull fracture?

Yes,that's due to blood collection beneath the skin resulting from the trauma .
