The deep acne scars will not resolve with just crews of chemical peels. Acne scars are of different types - box scar, rolling scar, ice pick scars. A dermatologist will need to examine your skin to identify them. You will require combination of procedure treatments targeting two levels of your skin. For deeper component subcision is advisable to break the bands that are formed under the skin of the pits . Along with subcision, you need to combine it with either Fractional CO2 laser or Er:Yag laser or Microneedling to target the superficial component of the scars to improve the skin texture. Also, in addition to that for ice pick scars you will need targeted specific local application of high concentration trichloroacetic acid to target the depths of ice pick scars.
