I taken 4 ECT treatment my depresion and anxiety lift. Is ECT treatment permanent or temporary please say sir / Medam

ECT is required if its clinical disorder and severity levels are extremely high....please ask your primary psychiatrist to give you medicines along with psychotherapy. But you will have to be regular for your psychotherapies.

ECT is temporary , for severe and acute condition. You have to continue antidepressant.

It's a mode of treatment for treatment un responsiveness or when you need faster response. Even after you get better with ect you will have to continue medications. It's not a permanent solution , it's an add on treatment

Definitely ECT is temporary and should be used when medicine don't work. After taking complete cycle of ECT you have to continue medicine with the consultation of your psychiatrist.
