Darkspots on face since 1 and half year
Dark spots appeared on my face out of nowhere and kept on spreading. Is it something of concern? They are spreading and I am worried to what extent it might spread. I consulted a dermatologist and she said they are birth marks and prescribed an ointment. Can it be birthmarks? It sounded strange. I shared pics which are three months apart. And you can view the spots spreading.

is there a way you can give a little more info? Like touch, feel & texture of these spots ? Any other issues like itching etc ? and any change in lifestyle recently? from food , sun exposure, workplace? anything you can think of . It will be helpful , Any other medications other than thyroid like Birth control pills or supplements like vitamins etc?
