Dark under eyes and non-white eyes
I am black and 42 years old and I have dark under eyes as well as non-white eyes. I am assuming my eye colors could be as a result of my age and my dark under eyes could be because of hyperpigmentation in which I trouble with, but is there anything I can do to change these situations. I am told that I look younger than my age but I think these 2 factors make me look older. I am in a university setting and while I am not trying to be young but I would mind looking young and vibrant at all times.

Dark circles are a common problem but the cause for its occurrence has to be determined. Most of the times, it's genetic that is it runs in the family. But inadequate sleep, nutritional deficiency or working on laptop for long hours can also cause this. Please get your hemoglobin checked. Creams can be tried, which are specially made for treating pigmentation on this area. Chemical peels are also another option. Please use a sunscreen.
