Dark Skin Remains After Fungal Treatment
Dear Dermatologists, My name is Aman Kumar, a 20-year-old male. Three years ago, during the transition from summer to the rainy season, I experienced a fungal infection around my private parts. I treated it with an anti-fungal cream called Ring Guard, and it seemed to clear up. Since then, I haven't experienced any recurring fungal infections in that area. However, despite the infection clearing up, the skin in that area has remained dark and hasn't returned to its normal color. It's been three years, and I'm still concerned about it. I'd like to know what treatment options are available, how I can resolve this issue, and how long it might take. Thank you for your guidance. Sincerely, Aman Kumar
