There can be several causes why your skin would turn dark or you may get pigmentation. Sun tan, overweight, pigmentation disorders like acanthosis nigricans or melasma, nutritional deficiency etc are some conditions. Unless someone examines you, we cannot know the cause. Unless we find out the cause it is difficult and pointless to treat. Please send photos with detailed history using online consult option for examination and proper treatment.,

Pigmetation around the eyes are because hereditary origin , sometimes even underlying eczema or acantosis. There are skin bleaching creams available but considering skin around the eyes being delicate doctor would chose it wisely. This could be the reflection of someone’s nutritional status as well. Dark lips could be of hereditary reason, smoking or bit of dehydrated mucosa Do connect for more information and detailed consultation. Do check Instagram for results: drmalaymehta
