Dandruff since 4 years

I have had dandruff problem for almost 3-4 years now. It simply wont go.i have tried various shampoo's - both medicated as well as herbal . the dandruff problem gets reduced or disappears for 1-2 days if i apply oil or curd or lemon. But no matter what i do , dandruff always comes back after 2 days. so basically i have been following this very routine of applying curd or oil every 3rd day for a very long time now . i am also having hairfall issues due to dandruff. Moreover most of the medicated shampoos( that i have tried in the past) also result in a lot of hairfall, so presently i have started relying on curd and sunsilk shampoo. What should i do?

The hair cycle normally consists of growing, resting and falling hairs and there is a delicate balance between these stages of hair cycle. Normally hair should re-grow but if it is not happening, you should consider seeing a dermatologist. Health Tips
Severe dandruff could indicate dandruff itself which is significant or can indicate beginning of some other skin condition like Seborrheic dermatitis or Scalp psoriasis.
