I have been suffering from dandruff for last one year. Since past few months I am getting skin rashes all over my jaw line, neck and upper back which after sometime turn into black marks. Even after washing my hair twice a week regularly the issue persists. I have been using shikkakai powder since my childhood and never had dandruff problems in the past. I am afraid of switching to shampoos. What kind of treatment should I follow to solve my problem?

Dandruff can be treated with lotion and shampoo (not the commercial ones which you use). Some people have more oiliness on the scalp which then causes visible flakes that people called dandruff. There are also some conditions which present with flaking of the scalp and have to be treated properly. do not apply oil on the scalp as it will worsen the condition. Please contact me by online consultation for proper examination and treatment advice
