Danazol and Depo Provera
I underwent a surgery and a cyst was removed from near my ovary. I was diagnosed with endometriosis afterwards and the doctor prescribed me Danazol and also Depo Provera 150mg inj every month for the next six months. I did my own research and found out that when using Danazol, hormonal contraceptives are not effective but non hormonal contraceptive such as condoms should be used to prevent pregnancy. Why is hormonal contraceptives not effective while on Danazol?
