Why is d dimer plasma test done? What happens when it is 1.41mg/L, my mother got typhoid and jaundice and she is taking medicines for that, in today's tests she got d dimer plasma as 1.41mg/l,what happens when d dimer is high and does she need to admit in a hospital for this or can she get treated as an out patient?
