D&C procedure after missed abortion
I am 8weeks 3 days pregnancy as on today . So for TVS done 2 Times. First report at 6 weeks 1 days dated on 01.04.2020 . No cardiac activity seen that time . CRL was 1.7mm. Again we took TVS today on 15.04.2020 . CRL 1.96mm. No cardiac activity seen. We met with our gynaec with this report and doctor said its missed abortion as no growth and heart beat in baby . Doctor asked us to wait for more 4 days as there may be a chance that fetus come out on it's own. If it's not happen after 4 days Doctor asked us to do D&C procedure . My query is, as this is our first pregnancy. Is it safe to undergo D&C procedure.? Will this procedure create issues on next pregnancy.? What's the benefit of D&C procedure in comparison with medical procedure.? We are worried about this . Your all answers are highly appreciated. Pls give us clarity abt D&C procedure.?
