Hi...., cytomid is a nonsteroidal anti-androgen type of medication. It works by preventing the actions of androgens in the prostate to stop the growth and spread of cancer cells as the cancer cells need male hormones to grow. The medication can be used alone or with other medications and sometimes with radiation therapy to treat prostate cancer.....
