Cystic lesion
My mother's ultrasound report says Lower pole of right kidney shows an exophytic cystic lesion measuring approx. 14.8 x 8.5 mm, the nature of which cannot be ascertained. 5 years ago, she had kidney stone problem which was treated... Please anyone can help to understand?

Does any of ur family members has kidney cysts ? Ur father or mom .. need to reassess after 6 months .. also if u can connect or WhatsApp I'll explain the issues .. 959798368zero ..

It will be better to go ahead with a contrast ct scan (if creatinine report normal) to assess the cyst better. Usg will not pick up all the features of the cyst

Hi Cyst needs to be followed up. Please compare with previous scans. If suspicious she will need an MRI Or at least 6 monthly follow up ultrasound @Kidneydoctorrr (IG)
