My father has large (12 × 8.5 × 7 cms) thin walled cystic lesion with fluid intensity seen in the right upper back region between medial border of right scapula and spine in the plane of right trapezius muscle. No evidence of intra thoracic extension of lesion seen.
Above report is from MRI throrax Report.

It is necessary to examine pt clinically and study the CT films.
From your description, it appears to be surgically resectable lesion.
Yet detailed study is a must
Next Steps
clinical examination and CT films to be evaluated
Health Tips
to be seen by surgical oncologist only as the first surgery only should give him no chance of leaving behind disease even in microscopic form.
