Crohns or something else?
I was on multiple antibiotics for a long time for tonsil, sinus , prostate infection. Right now also m taking 1/2 tab bactrim for my prostate infection. I have developed gastritis and duedonitis in my UGIe. Also i have middle and lower abdominal pain with loose stools. i dont have to go again and again to the toilet but i have loose stools. Recent sigmoidoscopy showed normal except for external piles. Could this diarrhea be crohns or just sideeffects of antibiotics?

Chances of antibiotics induced diarrhoea is more. Long term symptoms with mucus and blood in stools, cramping Abdominal pain and tenesmus(incomplete defecation) will be in favour of crohn's disease. Take pre and probiotics along with a course of metronidazole. If your loose stools continue, then do a complete colonoscopy and multiple biopsies and a fecal calprotectin test to test for crohn's.
