COVID Vaccine related Allergy.
Hi! I'm from Kolkata, 30YO, Male. My COVID vaccine (COVAXIN)  is scheduled for day after tomorrow, on 29th May. Now, I don't have any significant history of allergy apart from one incident, which I'm sharing in details. I was admitted at AMRI in 2018 with acute Peritonsillar Abscess. I underwent a CT Scan of throat there. A contrast dye was injected. And there was an immediate allergic reaction. Whole body got covered with rashes, hives. And there was this burning sensation from inside. My hear rate increased substantially too. I was injected with some sort of antidote, probably an anti allergic. My symptoms got better. And I was alright within 10 minutes. They kept me under observation for a further 30 mins. Nothing happened and I was taken to my ward. This is the only incident of allergy. So, any precautionary measures that I need to take before being administered the shot? What should be done? Kindly advise. Regards.
