Covid vaccine for High bp and diabetic
Hello doctors, My dad (58years) is having diabetic and hypertension for past several years and he is on continuous medication. Below are the list of tablets he is taking everyday. I am more concerned about clopidogrel. Please kindly review and advise whether he can take covid vaccine? Are there any precautions to take? Any vaccine preference? 1. pioglitazone hydrochloride 2. Olemar 40am 3. atorvastatin calcium and clopidogrel capsule 4. Beplex forte 5. metformin hydrochloride prolonged release and glimepiride He nowadays getting leg pain frequently and sometimes blood sugar goes to 60 and feeling dizzy.

He can defiantly take the vaccine . Pt taking Clopidogrel is not contraindication for vaccine . No specific vaccine as such .
