Covid test negative but symptoms occur
My mother in law has all the symptoms of Covid 19 infection, fever, cough, cold, body ache, occasionally vomiting, acidity, loss of taste. But her Covid rapid test has come out to be negative. The rest of the family members are all positive. She got the test done at a government dispensary. Considering she has all the symptoms, we believe the test is not correct. Please suggest what to do as a precautionary measure?

Get a repeat COVID 19 RT PCR NASOPHARYNGEAL SWAB TEST DONE along with cbc crp . Complete isolation for 14 days , bed rest let her drink plenty of fluids. Salt water gargle and steam inhalation thrice daily . Symptomatic treatment with paracetamol for fever and pantoprazole for acidity. Keep the diet light simple dal rice chapati soups . If she has sugar or high blood pressure monitor the levels closely. Check oxygen pulse rate and BP twice daily .
