Hi,
My boy diagnosed with Croup and Covid. He got discharged from hospital but after few days he got fever again so doctor advised ceftriaxone antibiotics and tested Cbp, crp and blood culture. Is crp 5.0 mg/l dangerous for kids? Kindly suggest

But as the child has repeated fever spikes then better to get the test done, especially the blood culture.

CRP 5 is not dangerous for kid. But have to look at other factors also, how much is the fever, what other symptoms does he has? What are the other test results?
