Covid antibody test
Hi, I had recovered from covid on April 23rd 2021. I have attached my covid antibody test report. May I know what does it indicate? Are there sufficient antibodies  present to fight the infection? Shound I get myself vaccinated now?

Yours IgG antibody show immunity against covid,  it is sufficient  . You can take vaccine after 3 months of covid recovery  that means on july 23 onward.

Yes antibodies have been developed. But future re infection cannot be predicted , as the virulence of the virus strains are different. But as you have recovered recently only , get vaccinated after July 23. Because there will be overlap of antibodies and it is of no use.

As per the present guidelines, you have to wait atleast for 3 months for getting vaccinated after recovery from Covid 19(SARS COV2) infection.
