Covid 19 patient
Today is 15th day of my covid infection, no fever no other symptom is there but I am having nasal congestion since 8 days. Using otrivin twice daily. Taking steam thrice a day. Still I am facing this problem.please help. And when can I test my RTPCR test to get negetive.

U dont need rtpcr done. nose block will open gradually

Hi. Immediately post Covid , RTPCR is not indicated . Because the result might still be positive because the test amplifies even virus particles which have colonised during an active infection Steam inhalation twice a day should be good . Use saline nasal drops instead of otrivin if your symptoms exceed 5 days .
