Could I have ADHD ?
I always have sharp focus but almost zero will power always switch to new things fast without completing or doing it at very last minutes . Can't classify myself lazy as I was working just not on thing I should before COVID lockdown people always keep tabs on things so context keeps coming back on task in hand. In lock down now things worsen a lot As now I end up reading or working till 2 3 days straight without sleep . Mood swings minutes before I fell happy next I am sad or irritate like hell on small things to the extent that sometime felt depressed a lot and these long 2 3 days is something which is not  required at all mostly I read up things . Design software systems and feel a lots of happiness which tends to alway keep me. Doing it again and again now mostly I sleep for 2 3 hr in day or 8-9 if I skip a sleep for night after doing 2year of this now I am exhausted feel exhausted thought depressed searching leads to ADHD symptoms are my life story since child.

Hi It seems like your mind is occupied with a lot of things. It seems like you are not able to focus on one thing. Whenever you focus on one thing various thoughts come to your mind. There are a lot of things that you want to do. When your mind is occupied with a lot of thoughts it triggers high energy levels. In your case you are reading or working two to three days straight without sleep. It seems like you are putting too much pressure on yourself to an extent that it is making you feel anxious, upset, and exhausted. To feel better consult a psychologist and explain about your thoughts. You will have to work on slowing down. You will also have to work on managing your time well so that you take breaks in between. It is necessary to determine the root cause of racing thoughts that is triggering high energy levels. Explaining about your thoughts to a psychologist will help you manage stress levels and feel calm. In order to determine if you could have ADHD consult a psychiatrist and psychologist. With a mental health professional you can talk about your childhood and relationship with family. ADHD often begins in childhood and symptoms remain in adulthood as well. Do not worry with the help of a mental health professional you will feel calm.

Hello! This definitely sounds like you’re been having a hard time. ADHD is a developmental disorder which means that the symptoms are observed to be present since childhood. There are several therapeutic techniques and exercises that you can use. If this is ADHD, there are several tests that you can take to understand the symptoms and severity (if applicable of course). These tests are mainly done offline. I hope you feel better. Take care!
Next Steps
Consult a clinical psychologist or a psychological testing centre.
