Tonsillitis, pharyngitis, bronchospasm, asthama, LRTI etc are a few. But the treatment if each is different. So it needs to be examined to know what kind of treatment he requires.

Continous coughing can be because of bronchospasm or wheezing problem. Your child's chest needs to be examined for any wheeze and may need nebulisation.
