Coughing and vominiting up clear phlegm
Ever since I went through a c section one month ago (after having a tube down my throat) I've been having severe coughing episodes almost every 1-2 hours every day. I will cough extremely hard to the point of vomiting clear liquid which I believe to be phlegm but I could be wrong. I will constistently clear my throats throughout the day because of phlegm buildup. I went to an urgent care doctor and he prescribed me prednisone (that steroid worked wonders). What could it be?

You seem to be suffering from laryngitis secondary to endotracheal intubation. Sometimes tube can injure your vocal cords and cause inflammation resulting in cough. Steroids can be beneficial in short term but can't be used for long. Steam inhalation can be beneficial
Next Steps
Consult nearby ENT specialist for confirmation of diagnosis and appropriate treatment if required
