Cough since 10 days
My father experiencing mild cough since 10 days.Feels congestion in lungs while coughing. Couching generally in night and morning. Tried Syrup Alex and montek LC. Better for sometime but perfect. He is on storvas ,triolmesar 20 and Glizid M.
Please suggest medication for same

As you mentioned he is on cardiology and diabetes medication.
Hence it could be either primary seasonal viral or secondary infection which is causing cough pain and inflammation.

Hi
I understand that your dad is a hypertensive, diabetic and has cholesterol problems.
Now this cough can be because of a cardiac or respiratory issue.
Please give me some more details and on other things is that please stop syrup Alex.
Cough suppressant doesn’t treat the underlying disease.
You should aim for a diagnosis and get the right treatment for that.
