Cough in sleeping position while playing
My baby is 2 month 22 days old. He has laryngomalacia and i make him sleep on elevated surface. He has been coughing since last 4 week. I went to doctor twice, he has prescribed 5 days medication each time. Whenever he is playing (extending his hands and legs, making sound etc) in bed saliva gets accululated and he coughs a lot. If i make him to rest on my shoulder then cough reduces. I am worried. What may be the reason, does laryngomalacia results in cough...

Pouring of secretions in laryngomalacia may cause cough. You should make ur child sleep in prone position. That is make him lay on his stomach while sleeping.
