My husband is covid positive nd he has continous cough. Plz prescribe some cough syrup or any diagnostic test???

He requires evaluation by certified doctors. Check oxygen levels with pulse oximeter,at rest and aftrr 6minute walk , thrice daily oxygen levels should nt dip more than 5% Syrup ascoril d 10ml thrice daily Tab montek lc  at bed time

check crp,d dimer levels ,complete blood picture   ct chest only after more than 5days since symptoms started

He can take Syrup Alex 5ml three times a day... Taking steam atleast two times a day can also help in relieving cough.

If he is having continuous cough you should immediately consult a doctor He might need further investigation and proper management
