Cough more than 1 month requires doctor consultation.. Do i have fever ? Cough with phlegm or sputum ? Is there any loss of appetite or weight loss ? Do u hear any wheezing sounds when u breath ? Do u have any allergic history ? Or any family  members have ASTHAMA? If so u should visit a doctor .. Just taking cough syp might not help
