Cough from the last two months
My mother was having a viral fever with cold cough on June 1st week . Had antibiotics for a week and after that fever and all stops but cough without mucus lasts for these one and half months. It's not continuously coming but once starts it's very severe with wheezing and she is feeling difficulty to take breathe. It's lasts for few minutes. Usually happens at night. We didnt done rtpcr at that time. So am not sure whether the fever was due to corona virus. Kindly advise on the same.

Visit a pulmonologist to rule out bronchial asthma. Also it can be because of extresophageal reflux which can be treated with proton pump inhibitors.
