Giving kofarest from 4 days but still he s coughing tried few home remedies also...

Is it dry cough?
Did the child have a fever?
Does the child have cold and a runny nose?
Please share the weight of the child so that I can prescribe the right dose of cough syrup.
Cough from viral infections take time to go away- sometimes as long as 7 to 14 days, as the body recovers. On medication it will decrease and slowly improve over the days.

If he is active and has no weight loss, nothing to worry about. Cough due to viral infections is common and goes away after 1 or 2 weeks. Please visit a pediatrician for check up
