During early pregnancy scan for my wife, the report said that there was no evidence of corpus luteum in both the ovaries.
What is the effect of this on pregnancy? Does she require any medical help for this ?

Corpus luteum supports pregnancy in early weeks of gestation.
If that s absent she should be put on progesterone support till 12 weeks that is when placental function s established.
