Coronavirus Vaccination
Hi,
I suffer from Hypothyroidism and take Eltroxin 100 and I also have psoriasis for which I take homeopathic medicines. Can I take any vaccine against Coronavirus. Do I have to keep anything in mind while taking the vaccine. I don't have any such allergies ad such.

Yes go for vaccination as it is proven to prevent serious infection avoid homeo medicine as it may contain alcohol and other heavy metals which may cross react

Any vaccine amongst the available ones can be taken with minimal risk.
The benefits outweigh the risks of the vaccine, according to the latest ICMR guidelines.
Please carry all documents and reports pertaining to your medical conditions or allergies to the vaccination centre and inform the vaccination medical officer about your condition. After taking the vaccine, it is strongly recommended to stay under observation at the centre for a period of 30 minutes. Inform about any abnormal symptoms to the medical officer urgently.
It is also recommended that the vaccination centre have means of resuscitation available for emergency use. Please ensure that such means are available.

We don't know what is the content of homeo medicine. So it is better to stop for one week before taking your vaccine.
