CORNEAL EDEMA
On 3rd november'2015, my left eye was operated by pheco surgery for catract.but corneal edema occured .after taking medicines and drops ,the situation recovered after 1 and half month.but after 2 months,swelling of cornea occured again and medicine was started but on 3rd april'2016 again edema reccured. i have been advised to take softdrops 4 times a day and panthegel ointment 2 times and also vitamin A tablets , but still today edema is not clear,and the vision is glossy, kindly advise .

Recurrent corneal edema suggests there is some other pathology 1. Ask for specular microscopy for endothelial cell count If count is OK then consult cornea specialist

Corneal edema persisting for so long period make us suspicious of some more serious happening in the eye. Show to cornea specialist immediately.
