Your child probably having febrile seizures. That means whenever fever comes he may get convulsions if fever shoots up high. This will be there till 5 to 6 years of age and later it won't continue. Till then you have to give febrile seizures prophylaxis. That is 1. Paracetamol round the clock 2. Meftal p or Ibugesic for high fever 3. Frisium Tablet for 2 days.(prevent seizures) 4. Midacip is an anti convulsant , should be used only if convulsions are there to stop the same. Till 5 years whenever fever comes you should give above medications for initial two days.
Next Steps
Ask your pediatrician for correct dosages of the medications.
Health Tips
Don't make fever shoot up use fever medicines effectively to prevent seizures. Tepid sponging also helps.
