Continuous Ringing Sound in Left Ear
"Using a cotton bud for ear cleaning has pushed the wax towards inner ear drum"- This is what i was told by a doc who removed the ear wax from left ear. But from the moment i used Cotton bud, there is continuous ringing sound in left ear And it didnt stopped even after removing the wax. That doc had confirmed that there is no damage to ear. But i am irritated with this ringing sound . Is it a major prblm. What can i do to cure it?

You may be having associated eustachian tube dysfunction which usually occurs secondary to common cold. Wax might have been incidental finding. Usually this condition resolves on its own within few days. You can use decongestant medicines for few days for faster recovery. A pure tone audiogram and tympanogram will confirm the diagnosis
Next Steps
Consult nearby ENT specialist for confirmation of diagnosis and appropriate treatment if required
