My friend is coughing continuously. She has asthma. She took a puff of her medicine but it is still not stopping. She also vomitted.

Hello! Two things need attention here.  One is what inhaler your friend is taking on regular basis and how many puffs.  Because there are way too many inhalers available in the market and their composition (what drug they contain and in what dosage)varies.  Second is that it is not just enough to have right inhaler prescribed , more important is to be taught the right technique of using an inhaler . Coz that's what determines the drug delivery deep into your airways and lungs. In some cases , apart from inhalers, patients might benefit from adding a short course of  oral antihistamine medications.
