Constipation
Hi Sir/Madam, Our son is 2 years old and he's not passing stool regularly from past 5 days. We gave dulcofex suppository 5mg, and he passed the stool day before yesterday. But today he has not passed the stool. Please suggest us on this. Will be very thankful for the help.

Polyethylene glycol is the medicine for symptomatic constipation , however a high fibre diet , avoidance of junk foods and TOILET TRAINING must be in place effectively to have a positive outcome in long term. Need to rule out a few other conditions as well after a physical examination. Pls consult your doc directly.

The main long term treatment is a dietary change. Having a high fibre and nutritious diet is essential, such as nuts, lines etc. Eating certain junk and packaged foods can cause further constipation.
