Constipation due to intestinal structure
My baby is 6.5 months old..She is passing hard stools after starting solids..When we consulted peadtrician, he said her intestinal opening is nearer to female organ, it is not in straight path, it is in moving in different way to pass the stools that is causing constipation... So he said it is advisable to avoid foods caussing constipation... Is this sonething to worry about? Is this common?

As we have not seen the patient so very difficulty to say what's the problem is exactly. Increase fluid to avoid dehydration even dehydration cause constipation. Can give pure apply juice it will help. Moving the baby's leg can releave constipation Light massage over the abdomen can also help. Warm water bath can also help. Rest things you need to ask your pediatrician as he is the one who examined the baby.
