Constant Wheezing and Asthma.
I have seasonal allergies and asthma. The asthma is usually triggered by allergies. I have currently been feeling some symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, and chest tightness when inhaling. I haven't had any coughing. At, first i started taking methylprednisolone 4 mg. Taking the pill form of prednisolone helped the wheezing ease down but it just came back a couple days ago. I have used a rescue inhaler which worked for a while but the effects wore off in hour. I used a nebulizer at home with albuterol sulfate solution. It had the same effect as the inhaler. Last night I started taking the prednisolone again because I have previously stopped taking them. I just need to know if I'm experiencing anything life threatening.

Hi..... Use your air conditioner. Air conditioning reduces the amount of airborne pollen from trees, grasses and weeds that finds its way indoors. Air conditioning also lowers indoor humidity and can reduce your exposure to dust mites..... Decontaminate your decor. Maintain optimal humidity.. Prevent mold spores. Clean damp areas in the bath, kitchen and around the house to keep mold spores from developing..... Reduce pet dander. If you're allergic to dander, avoid pets with fur or feathers.... Clean regularly. Clean your home at least once a week..... Cover your nose and mouth if it's cold out....If your symptoms is worsened by cold or dry air, wearing a face mask can help....
