Your symptoms are suggestive GERD(Gatro-eosophageal reflux disease) it is usually caused by worsening of gastiritis and could be associated with ulceration. I would advise you to make some lifestyle changes which could help you in this situation such as: - Reduce/Avoid spicy/oily food - Increase intake of fluids - Reduce/Avoid smoking and alcohol - Do not skip meals. Appetite could get affected and the will to eat may be lost but you shouldn't skip meals. You will find it difficult to eat your usual amount of food in which case you should breakdown the number of meals with increased frequency and reduced amount. I would advise you to meet a gastroenterologist who may advise an endoscopy to rule out conditions such as ulcers and varices and you will most likely require antacids and anti-emetics to give you relief from your current situation. If the pain is persistent on your abdomen and is radiating from the back to the abdomen you will also need to rule out a chance of renal calculi.
