Constant pain in middle of chest
From yesterday evening, I am having pain in mid of chest. Suspecting it's gastric due to work stress. Do I need to have heart checkup.

Get ECG ECHO TMT done to rule out heart related cause

Chest pain if related to meals with burning sensation or regurgitation can be considered as gastritis. If the pain is exertional with sweating breathlessness or fatigue, also if you have any other risk factors like diabetes BP cholesterol you must get an ECG done to rule out Cardiac cause
