Constant pain in left side of abdomen

I am experiencing acute pain on the left side of the abdomen. I took medicine from a local doctor and he had given some painkillers as well, the subsides for some time and returns after some time.

Just taking painkillers for abdominal pain will not help. You need to be evaluated for cause of the pain. Consult a physician or surgeon and get ultrasonography of abdomen done. Further course of action depends on the diagnosis.
