Hi, i'm 7 weeks pregnant. even before i knew i was pregnant i was having cough. right now, i still having cough and flu for about 4 weeks Can folic acid causes the cough and flu to persist? i'm waiting for my first gynecologists appointment. and i do sometime have cough due to GERD. the folic acid was prescribed by general physician when i went to confirm my pregnancy. My parents are asking me to stop taking the folic acid.but i'm confused, cause folic acid is very essential during pregnancy.
