Concern Low AMH & C-Section
Hello Doctor, I am 34 years old. Need some advice. In last quarter of 2019, I got my AMH test done and the report said the level was only 0.3. My doctor said I may not be able to conceive naturally and may have to opt for ivf. But I conceived the same month naturally. During the period of pregnancy, my blood pressure remained on higher side as I have history of high blood pressure. I had marginal placental abruption in 24 weeks but it was handled very well. Later due to high blood pressure and low AFI value, I had to deliver my baby early in 36 weeks by c-section. My baby is now 14 months. We want to have another baby, but my concern is if I should try early due to Low AMH levels or is it safe to conceive in after 14 months of C-section and other complications I had in my earlier pregnancy. Please guide.

It is usually not advisable to conceive voluntarily after 14 months of c- section But keeping an eye on your age and previous obstetrics history, you may try for conception if other factors are favourable
