Please help me regarding a rabies fear. I try my best but still some mice, shrews enter my house and many stray dogs, monkeys come and sit near my outer iron gates early morning or at night. I open those gates and close them at night.
What are the risks of contracting rabies via surface exposure to their saliva if any present on the gates?
Can one get rabies via surface like this if not directly bitten or licked?
If one gets a cut after an hour of such exposure will he need ARV boosters?
Also, if after taking full course of 5 ARVs, will taking one booster every year protect from such indirect exposures that may go unnoticed?
