Conceiving Problems
Hi, we are planning since 3 months but in vain. Also i read online to start taking folic acid a month before planning so i took my first pill (Vitafol 5mg) last night before going to bed and today morning got my periods. It was due on 14th September but it is preponed which never happend before. (My periods are irregular, it sometimes delays and sometimes they are on time) Also, the flow is heavier than usual. Is it because of folic acid? What do we do to conceive? Should we get tests done? Please help.

Hi. Periods do not get preponed due to folic acid. 3 months is not a very long time... normally an average couple takes from 3 months to 1 year to concieve. Just relax and enjoy. If your cycles are regular nothing to worry. Continue folic acid.
