Hello, First of you should know that nexito (escitalopram) is a SSRI group medication which is generally used in mood and anxiety conditions like depression, generalized anxiety, panic disorder, panic disorder, dissociative disorder etc. In case your wife is suffering from epilepsy (Complex partial seizure) then she should be receiving a anti epileptic drug like valproate, carbamezapine, phenytoin, clobazam, levetiracetam etc. Most probably nexito is being given for co occuring depression or anxiety or a dissociative disorder which may closely resemble a complex partial seizure like episode. Hence please discuss all these issues with your treating neurologist/psychiatrist to understand the condition and treatment of your wife... Hope this helps you. Best wishes for your and your wife's health and future..
